The Svakom Sam Neo interactive suction masturbator holds a special spot in my heart as it
was the first semi-automatic masturbator that I ever owned. It’s also one of the rare
masturbators that actually suction air instead of imitating the feeling of it through blocking a
hole. I purchased this toy with my own money at the start of the year for $200(AUD) and
have been using the product on and off for a few months now. This review is not affiliated
with Svakom in any way and will be about my personal experiences with the toy.

A little background
Svakom holds an interesting position in the sex toy market as a provider of interactive toys
for a cheaper price with similar functionality compared to higher end companies such as
lovense. They’re proudly based in China, which is refreshing to see as most of the toys on
the market are very discreetly manufactured in china anyway, and they’ve won multiple
highly sought after awards with innovative designs such as an insertable vibrator with a
camera on the end as well as wireless app controlled vibrators for a cheaper price.

First impressions
Just like their other products, the Sam Neo came with a minimalist and amazing looking
packaging that offered an almost luxury unboxing experience even compared to some toys
in the $500 range. The toy itself is simple, all black with a protective clear lid and plain white
gender neutral masturbator sleeve which I love. The sleeve itself is made of a ridiculously
soft TPE material, which I stay away from in toys such as dildos but don’t mind too much on
male strokers, The sleeve can only be described as a softer version of what I think Baymax
from Big Hero 6 would feel like and I’ve had trouble finding one that felt the same quality on
an automatic masturbator even while working at a sex toy store.
The design of the toy itself is probably one of the nicest looking male masturbators available
on the market currently, with the sleek all black design and a surprisingly small build despite
the amount of impressive functions crammed inside with the dimensions being 82mm x
82mm x 235mm. The device features a one button control system at the very bottom of the
toy (top during use) and is light enough to lift or use with one hand. I can’t say enough how
much I love the design of the outer all black casing as it just looks elegant, sleek and simple.
The device uses a 3.5mm dc usb charging cable and takes about 3 hours to charge for an
hour of use which was pretty standard. The lack of magnetic charging does just mean that
you have to be careful when washing the device itself and not just the sleeve.
The Svakom Sam Neo has 5 settings for the device when not used with the app being low
suction and vibration, medium suction and vibration, high suction and vibration, just suction
then just vibration. It is worth noting that no matter the mode, the suction function is always
in bursts whether it be short or long, this is so that the sleeve doesn’t get sucked into the
device when a penis is inserted.

In use
The first time I sat down with my partner and tried the device, my mind was blown. To start
with the positive, the texture and material of the sleeve itself was very snug and felt great to
use even when the device was turned off. I do understand that for those more endowed than
I am, the device’s size could feel quite small or too tight. Personally, at 7 inches, it felt like it
was reaching the limit of the device but it fit quite well and allowed for enough range in
movement to satisfy me.

Now getting to the main portion of the review, the suction and vibration. It’s quite difficult to
describe accurately but with enough lube, the suction and vibration did all of the work for me
once I placed the device onto my penis. After fiddling with the settings a bit, I decided to just
leave it at the high setting for a bit of time. The device slowly moved itself slightly up and
down as the suction gripped and let go over and over again while the bullet attached to the
interior of the device vibrated against the perfect spot on the frenulum. The combination of
the vibration and the surprisingly intense suction was the kind that makes me leak way way
more precum than usual and about 3 minutes into my first use of the device, I found myself
having to turn the settings down so that I could enjoy it for longer.

The convolutions that the suction produced almost made the texture of the sleeve feel like it
was pulsing. The one ended closed sleeve design also meant that once I inserted my penis,
there was already a vacuum formed in the sleeve that only added to the strong suction of the
Sam Neo. This was to the point where on the highest setting it was actually very difficult to
pull the device off my shaft or even stroke the device.

Interactive elements
After a more than successful first use manually, I was really looking forward to trying out the
interactive elements of the device. However this was where my slight disappointments in the
product appeared. First, the Feels Connect app that works with the Sam Neo is very clunky
and nowhere near the clean simple interface of the Lovense app. Given the modern design
choices on the packaging as well as the device, I expected the app to also follow suite but I
assume that it was developed by a third party as Svakom’s recent devices now connect to a
different self titled app.

While the feelconnect app has multiple features and control modes, it’s basically the same 5
settings just displayed in a slightly different way. There are also videos and interactive media
options such as pornhub, Feelx Videos, Senses Porn, SexLikeReal and Czech VR. However
I personally found the synced videos not very realistic and timed poorly. For instance with a
video where someone is riding cowgirl, I’d expect the suction to start and stop in sync with
the actress moving up and down. However with almost every video it felt quite random and
sporadic giving me the impression that the device was distracting me from the video and that
the video was taking away from te device.

At first, I thought that these problems with interactive elements were just the limit of our
current technology. However after recently trying more products such as the Lovense Max 2
and other automatic masturbators I can’t help but feel let down as the Sam Neo would be the
perfect introductory male masturbator device if the interactive elements were slightly better
and allowed you to freely control the suction.

Cleaning
The Closed cup design of the sleeve, while amazing in use, is slightly difficult to clean and
dry as there are many crevices and hidden folds that moisture can remain in within it. I
completely understand why they didn’t use an open sleeve as suction would become
impossible, however open sleeves do have an advantage of being able to just run water
through it. One thing that I can commend Svakom for in the Cleaning and maintenance
section is how easy it is to remove and return the sleeve into the device. There’s no sharp
edges or bits of thin plastic in your way and the only thing you need to look out for when
returning the sleeve is getting the bullet slot side on the sleeve matching to the bullet inside
the body of the Sam Neo which I found quite easy to do.

Just like every other TPE sleeve, over time, it may deteriorate and change in texture. A
common problem with many TPE products is that it may get a bit sticky to the touch over
time (Usually months). This hasn’t yet happened to my Svakom Sam Neo, but if it does just
apply some renewal powder from any company and it should be fine or otherwise you can
just replace the sleeve with a new one from Svakom for $35USD.

Summary:
The Svakom Sam Neo is an amazing product despite its flaws with their interactive
elements. I’d suggest purchasing the product if you’re intending to use it standalone as it
doesn’t exactly make for the best interactive or long distance toy on the market.
